The Position 
We are now looking for a Workshop Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the area of workshop operations. Governing and improving workshops, warehouse and internal logistics standardization, quality, efficiency and supporting all MSCOs. This position involves some travelling within Europe. 
In this role you will report to Nathan Van Der Burg, Workshop Operations Group Lead. 

Your Responsibility 

  • Identify, design and provide continuous improvement recommendations related to process improvements as identified in the Workshop strategy. 
  • Collaborate with members in the Workshop Operational Committee (WOC) and develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure long-term partnerships. 
  • Facilitate and document business processes and redesign processes through collaboration with the Workshop Operational Committee (WOC) and obtain approval from the WOC for the (re)design. 
  • Support the implementation of the Workshop Operation Policy within TMHE (Toyota Material Handling Europe). 
  • Support the business perspective towards our IS for system improvements related to process improvements. 
  • Manage projects connected to strategic and decided process improvements, and ensure improvements are implemented across Europe. 
  • Stand in for the Senior Manager Workshop Operations where appropriate. 

Your Profile

Your Profile 

  • Minimum Bachelor Education or proven experience in managing a team and area expertise. Education must support knowledge, skills and abilities either through education or proven experience and qualifications. 
  • Previous experience implementing process improvements on a MSCO or an enterprise level. 
  • Proven ability to collaborate with business leaders while facilitating change management on a MSCO or enterprise level. 
  • Experience facilitating meetings and leading cross-functional groups. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Visio or other process documentation tools is beneficial.  
  • An ability to be adaptive and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment. 
  • Superb work ethic, attention to detail, team orientation, and commitment to excellence. 
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
