The Position
We are now looking for a Service Business Development Manager to drive innovation, growth, and excellence in our service offering. In this role you will support the strategic development of our service business across Europe.

As part of the central Service Business Development team, you will play a key role in ensuring that our service portfolio meets market needs and delivers sustainable customer value. Through market analyses and the use of customer feedback, you will help maximize the attractiveness and competitiveness of our offering across all market segments while ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout the service sales process.

This role offers the opportunity to travel across Europe on a regular basis, with travel planned and coordinated in advance to ensure smooth logistics. The office location is flexible within Europe, depending on your current location.


Your Responsibilities

  • Analyse market trends, gather customer insights and evaluate competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Represent the voice of the customer and secure the consistency and competitiveness of our service portfolio.
  • Optimise service sales channels and implement digital tools to increase market reach and customer engagement.
  • Support sales teams with training content to effectively promote our market offering.
  • Monitor and measure service performance to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.

Your Profile

Your Profile

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in service, sales, or business development role, ideally in material handling or related industries.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing B2B service strategies that drive customer value and operational excellence.
  • Strong understanding of customer requirements for services related to capital goods, with experience in contract negotiations and SLAs.
  • Strategic thinker with a collaborative, innovative approach to problem-solving.
  • Solid analytical and financial skills in B2B service models and service contract management.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to work across teams from different business units.
  • Fluent in English - other European language is a plus.
  • SAP ERP/S4 HANA experience, Net Promoter Score (NPS) application and project management skills are an advantage.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in business, industrial engineering or similar.
