We are looking for a Workshop Engineer to work in our workshop in Castleford to service and maintain a wide range of materials handling equipment. This role comes with a competitive salary, an attractive company pension and the opportunity to work for a great company.

About the role

The role involves providing the assembly maintenance repair and service of a wide range of materials handling equipment including forklift trucks and warehouse equipment. On a day-to-day basis this is what you would be doing:

• Build, service and maintain used, demo and short-term rental trucks.
• Ensure trucks meet safety standards.
• Complete work sheets and update records.

We are looking for somebody who has mechanical and electrical engineering experience working with industrial equipment or vehicles. Experience in Material Handling and Forklifts would be beneficial, but not essential as full training will be given.
