Job description

Toyota Material Handling International AB is looking for a driven service-oriented professional with solid Material Handling industry experience and Toyota parts- and product knowledge to facilitate our international markets and grow our successful training offer further.

This Training Manager position will generally be focusing on facilitating the training requirements in the area of service at Toyota Material Handling International AB. Together with Training Manager Sales, you will be responsible for the company's overall training portfolio, you will support TMHI AB Regional Service Managers and Logistics Solutions (LS) Managers and our extensive Distributor network, on four continents, with high quality training tools enabling them to secure the position of Market Leader of Material Handling. Your area of responsibility also covers competence development for TMHI AB employees.

YOUR CHALLENGE

Your core responsibilities as Training Manager Service, are primarily to support TMHI AB Regional Service Managers to better serve and develop the TMHI distributor network by supplying relevant and up to date service training materials. The role requires a high level of people skills and finesse in order to effectively communicate with various key stakeholders such as TMH entities, global supply units and relevant suppliers (TMHMS, TMHMI, TMHMF, US-WH/Raymond, TICO, EAB, Micropower, Miretti etc.)

  • Develop, update, adapt and maintain training materials for Service/LS, maintenance/parts, model descriptions, applications/add-ons, options, etc.
  • Collaborate with relevant supply units training departments to gather available training material and adapt when necessary and make available for TMHI distributor network and Regional Service Managers on suitable platforms i.e. NWA LMS etc.
  • Develop and implement training plans in collaboration with Regional Service/LS Managers, Product Managers and Distributors.
  • Coordinate with Product Managers to deliver just-in-time training for new product rollouts or updates (Relevant supply units including Tyro family).
  • Conduct service-related trainings covering the complete range of equipment.
  • Assess service-related training needs by conducting annual surveys on performance data, feedback surveys for Regional Service Managers and TMHI Distributor network, to enable proactive planning of future training opportunities supported by appropriate training material.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, performance metrics, feedback surveys, and adjust program accordingly.
  • Manage training calendar and coordinate with Regional Service Managers to ensure timely delivery of trainings for the TMHI distributor network.
  • Support RSM’s with coordination and facilitation of regional service trainings to enable RSM’s to fully focus on delivering high quality 
  • Collaborate with Sales Training in in conducting company competence inventory survey, identify gaps and drive employee competence development plan.

Your Profile

Service-orientation and multitasking comes natural to you as you have a great ability to steadily manage and prioritise different tasks and activities with a professional approach. You have a relevant technical background and long term experience of working within service market in the material handling industry. You are used to work independently and cross functional as a good and reliable team player. While being flexible you have a structured approach to performing your tasks with a pro-active, result-oriented and driven mindset.

YOUR SKILLS

We believe you are a strong communicator with good teaching abilities and excellent Swedish and English skills. You have no problem getting across to all kinds of people with humility, clarity, and ease whether verbally or in writing. You also have an awareness of the challenges that comes with operating in an international arena, which means you know how to successfully navigate cultural differences between markets, stakeholders and working methods. Experience of working towards deadlines is meritorious as well as previous work experience from similar role in a larger industrial organization in an international context.
