The Position
Our Data & Advanced Analytics team is growing, and we are now looking for an engaged Lead Data Engineer to join the team! In this role you will be responsible for designing and implementing data integration patterns and pipelines to support data & AI initiatives. You will work in close collaboration with our data architects, and development teams, ensuring our Data & AI programs are future-ready. In this hands-on role, you will also serve as a technical mentor, guiding teams to resolve challenges and deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.
You will report to Head of Data and Advanced Analytics.
Your Responsibility
- Design and implement data integration pipelines using cloud technologies such as Talend, Azure Data Factory and Snowflake
- Act as a technical lead for development activities, including code reviews and mentoring team members
- Optimize Snowflake environments for performance, cost efficiency, and governance
- Ensure best practices in data engineering, including CI/CD, version control and testing frameworks
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
