Job description

Toyota Material Handling International AB is looking for a driven sales-oriented professional with solid Material Handling industry experience and product knowledge to facilitate our international markets and grow our successful International Key Account business further.

THE ASSIGNMENT

As an International Key Account Manager (IKAM) at Toyota Material Handling International AB, your objective is to exceed annual sales targets by working directly towards a number of assigned International Key Accounts. Through an efficient, proactive, and positive business manner you will guide and support our International Key Accounts in their decision-making process by providing valuable input based on your knowledge and experience, growing the Toyota brand volumes, share of customer and margins among assigned International Key Accounts to ensure that Toyota SoM goals are exceeded.

The IKAM core responsibility is to make sure that set business targets in assigned major customer accounts are achieved to secure our position as market leader. This includes:

  • Being the company’s point of contact in the communication with assigned International Key Accounts.
  • Exhibit a genuinely proactive business manner in our processes to exceed set targets.
  • Set strategies/tactics/plans for assigned International Key Accounts.
  • Forecast and follow up of International Key Account business performance, including counter actions.
  • Ensure availability of necessary knowledge to implement correct actions to improve Share of Customer.
  • Drive and support coordination of International Key Account development.
  • Execute assigned customer admin duties to ensure International Key Account deadlines.
  • Support Distributors in their business development processes in the International Key Account area.
  • Work with TMHI AB Regional Managers and Distributors to implement plans and take actions to ensure sales targets are met.

Your Profile

YOUR PROFILE

You have documented experience of negotiating and closing international key account contracts in a material handling setting. We believe you are a strong communicator who, through your excellent English skills, get across to all kinds of people with humility, clarity and ease whether verbally or in writing. You also have an awareness of the challenges that comes with operating in an international arena, which means you know how to successfully navigate cultural differences between markets, stakeholders and working methods.

  • We expect you to be a structured and methodical individual with strong people skills.
  • You are results-oriented, pragmatic and you enjoy working in an international environment.
  • You have an eye for details, but you also understand the bigger picture.
  • You have an outstanding ability to build relationships and develop consensus and understanding on a broad scale.
  • Service-orientation and multitasking comes natural to you as you have a great ability to steadily manage and prioritize different tasks and activities with a professional approach.
  • You have a relevant background and are used to work independently and cross functional as a good and reliable team player.
