We are currently looking for a Finance Analyst – Logistics Solutions to join our team in our Leicester business centre. This role involves providing analytical, commercial and financial support across the business area.

About the role

On a day-to-day basis this is what you would be doing:

• Support the divisional objectives of the sales and logistics solutions team 
• Calculate all allocated salary payments including overtime, commission and bonus payments 
• Identify and develop new data modelling tools and concepts 
• Maintain, update and improve all management reporting systems 
• Provide internal and external support 

We are looking for someone with previous experience in an accounting, statistical analysis or planning role with proven analytical skills. Here is a quick tick list for the other skills we are looking for:

• Experience in manipulating and analysing large amounts of data
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
• Good team working skills
• Good organisation and planning skills
• Time management skills
• Advanced Excel skills 
• Power BI experience would be beneficial
