This role is leading and managing the European Account Team for AMAZON. You are responsible for the overall sales- and business development of AMAZON in Europe following the agreed strategy/business plan. This role identifies opportunities, sets up and develops business agreements with the customer. Your are managing and developing – together with your team - relations within AMAZON and a broad network of internal key stakeholders. The team is working closely with our MSCO’s and ID’s in Europe and the functional TMHE divisions.  Regular exchanges take place with the Global Account Manager for AMAZON and the GKAC (Global Key Account Council).

The position 

You will oversee and manage the relationships and communication of TMHE with AMAZON in Europe. The responsibility is to obtain and maintain long term business relation with the customer by comprehending and anticipating AMAZON’s requirements and through building strong relationships to multilevel key contacts. You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote our company’s solutions and achieve highest mutual satisfaction. The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing our business with AMAZON to achieve short- and long-term success and profitability. Regular reporting and communication towards TMHE top management on the progress and/or potential threats and challenges are needed. This role may include extensive business travel* across Europe up to a level of 50% of your work time. (* pre-pandemic situation without travel limitations being the reference).

Your Challenges

Strategic:

  • Refine TMHE’s strategy with line management to establish TMHE as AMAZON's top MHE supplier, aligning with TMHG/TMHE growth plans.
  • Translate AMAZON's business needs from their business plan into actionable strategies.
  • Strengthen trust with strategic updates and interactions with top management.

 

Operational:

  • Meet annual financial goals, ensuring team efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Use EKA methodology to address business urgencies effectively.
  • Lead negotiations and integrate new technologies to secure TMHE's position as a top MH equipment provider in Europe.
  • Build strong business cases, ensure effective communication with AMAZON, mobilize support, and resolve issues promptly to maintain trust and report progress.

  • You are experienced in international Key Account Management and Consultative Selling.
  • You possess excellent communication and presentation skills in English; additional languages may be an asset.
  • You have a proven track record in people management and leadership.
  • You set the right priorities and efficiently follow up, monitor tasks, and manage action plans.
  • You are skilled in planning and structuring your work, familiar with the PDCA cycle.
  • You understand the material handling market, competitors, and key industries/customer segments.
  • You are keen to evaluate and present potential innovations and new technologies, both internally and externally.
  • You are capable of managing complex projects by involving experts and applying project management methodologies.
  • You build and maintain successful internal and external networks at different levels.
  • You act humbly, trustworthily, and are a reliable partner to all key stakeholders.
