The Position
At Toyota Material Handling Europe, we’re not just creating solutions - we’re shaping the future of material handling. Our energy systems, including fully integrated lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries, are designed to deliver exceptional performance and reliability, driving efficiency and improving operations for our customers.
Joining our team means becoming part of a dedicated group of colleagues who thrive on collaboration, innovation, and making a meaningful impact. We are looking for a Senior Project Manager – Energy Systems to help lead the development and scaling of our Li-ion battery systems.
Based in our Project Management Office, you will be at the heart of where innovation meets teamwork. You will plan and lead product development projects, ensuring they align with our strategic goals. In this role, you’ll oversee the entire project lifecycle of our energy solutions - from concept to production - working closely with engineers, product managers and other key stakeholders. You will play a central role in advancing our energy systems, delivering cutting-edge solutions that meet customer needs and drive the growth of our business.
You will report to the Manager R&D Project Lead.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the development and scaling of Li-ion battery systems, ensuring quality, cost, and timing goals.
- Monitor project schedules, resources, and risks to ensure smooth execution and alignment with strategic goals.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative energy solutions that meet customer needs.
- Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and risks to sponsors and stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency.
- Contribute to long-term strategic planning for energy systems and integration with other products.
